Alligator Season is Here!

Yesterday marked the opening of private lands alligator season in South Carolina. Bob Shatto, who killed a massive buck several years back, was our first client and he had an awesome experience. Some 10 minutes into the hunt he arrowed a beautiful 8' 11" alligator that weighed 130#. What an unbelievable shot he made with our new crossbow set up. Stay tuned for the video shot by Ashley! Next hunter up was none other than the killing machine himself, Latham Boone. We snagged a big alligator and the fight was on! He fought the alligator for 1.5 hrs before bringing it up to harpoon range. After making a great harpoon shot, Latham cleanly dispatched the alligator with the .44 Magnum bangstick. Tale of the tape-9' 2.5", weight 200#! What a start. Here we go again!!
